Elon Musk will give ‘every kid in America’ a SpaceX share in 2027

Elon Musk plans to give one SpaceX share to every child in the United States in 2027, a gift valued at over $10 billion based on the current stock price, according to Teslarati. He announced this on X, stating it will be the first of many such gifts.

Separately, The Boring Company revealed a modified Prufrock Liner Truck using Tesla Model 3 batteries and drive units to carry a standard 20-foot shipping container, though no launch timeline or customers were disclosed. The company previously used similar trucks for tunnel segment transport.

Musk also explained that the proposed East Coast Hyperloop connecting New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. stalled because permits were impossible to obtain, despite earlier verbal government approval claims. Limited progress included a conditional utility permit in Maryland and a preliminary permit in D.C., but the project was removed from the company website by 2021.
